As you probably know Thomas Jefferson was America's first wine connoisseur and his great wine learning experiences took place in France (1784-1785) especially during and after his three and a half month tour through Southern France (Feb - June 1787) when he visited all of France's great vineyards.

I think some of your members might be interested in knowing that the Thomas Jefferson Wine and Food Society is located at http://www.thomasjefferson.net and membership is absolutely free.
